Rupert lived in a closed-in boxRupert came to us after a kind-hearted Good Samaritan reached out with concerns about a pig being kept in a confined structure—no sunlight, no fresh air, and no space to explore. When we found him, Rupert was living in isolation, a far cry from what any animal deserves.
He wasn’t there because of cruelty, but rather out of frustration. Rupert had become an escape artist, frequently getting out of his pen and unintentionally upsetting neighbors. But Rupert wasn’t being bad—he was being a pig. Curious, intelligent, and social by nature, he was just doing what felt instinctively right. Rupert had never been neutered, and like many animals driven by instinct, he was out searching for companionship and a place to belong. Rupert is blessed by sunshine and warm breezesToday, Rupert is no longer confined by the walls of a box. Instead, he lives in a spacious, open area where he can roam freely and explore the world as he was always meant to. His days are filled with simple joys—napping beneath the trees, soaking up the sunshine, and letting the cool breeze wash over him on warm afternoons.
Rupert is a spunky, spirited boy with a bright future ahead. He adores his herd and thrives in their company, never again facing the loneliness he once knew. After all the time he spent isolated, he’s finally living the life he dreamed of—a life full of freedom, friendship, and peace. |
