Roxy found her home - and her herdUnlike many of the animals we rescue, Roxy came from a loving family. They cared deeply for her but soon realized they didn’t have the right setup to meet her needs. Without proper fencing or shelter—and knowing that potbellied pigs are incredibly social and curious animals—they made the difficult, compassionate decision to find her a better home.
Thriving with her herd since 2020Roxy arrived at our sanctuary in 2020 and quickly settled into life among her new pig family. Though she’s on the shy side, Roxy has a gentle, affectionate spirit and absolutely adores attention. You’ll often spot her basking in a sunny patch of the woods, tail wagging and a peaceful smile on her face. She especially loves ear scratches and treats!
Today, Roxy is surrounded by the companionship and environment she was always meant to have. She’ll spend the rest of her life in safety, love, and comfort—and we couldn’t be happier to have her as part of our family. We love you, sweet Roxy! |
