Jasper and the cat food caperJasper is a striking black rooster whose journey to sanctuary began when he wandered onto a Guilford County property and made himself right at home—especially when it came to helping himself to the resident cat’s breakfast each morning! After a neighbor contacted animal control, Jasper was safely picked up and given a chance at a better future.
Like so many roosters, Jasper simply had nowhere else to go. Roosters are often surrendered or picked up as strays because most neighborhoods and city ordinances don’t allow them to stay. Today, Jasper is a proud resident of Coop de Ville at Jenna & Friends Animal Sanctuary, where he enjoys a safe home, good food, and the company of his best buddy, Cecil the rooster.
