Gregory was homeless in RaleighGregory came to us from the Wake County Animal Shelter (a kill shelter), where he was brought in as a stray. By the way, this is the same shelter where we've rescued a cat and three of our beloved dogs (including Jenna!). Fortunately for Gregory, Neshama Animal Rescue in Raleigh scooped him up to safety until they could find a pig sanctuary to take him in. That sanctuary was Jenna and Friends! And we couldn't be happier. We have no idea where Gregory came from or how he ended up as a stray, but that part of his life is all behind him now. Little Gregory's first night here was a full lunar eclipse!
Gregory is the master of belly rubs!Out of all the pigs we've rescued and gotten to know over the years, we have never seen a pig flop over so fast for a belly rub. It's amazing how he just flops right down within seconds of getting scratched. He's just the cutest little boy, and we have fallen head over heels for this little guy. And so have his piggy buddies. He's definitely one of the popular kids around here, as he can be a little bossy and demanding!
Gregory is one of the spunkiest little pigs we've ever seen, and his little tail never seems to stop wagging. And boy does he have a set of lungs — especially at feeding time! |
